The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Waclaw Hludzenski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fodor Daniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 65th minute of the match, Takacs Tibor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Borys Lanczak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Janusz Niedzwiecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Janusz Niedzwiecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sawino SA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
