Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okan Golovichev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Okan Golovichev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 8th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Mazza saved Karapinar from getting behind. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karapinar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Portugal's Daniel Pimentel to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Mazza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Mazza was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19thth minute of the game Felipe Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karapinar's Marcus Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 22nd minute of play forced Karapinar's goalkeeper Marcus Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Okan Golovichev. Marcus Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Viriato Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Karapinar's Marcus Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Okan Golovichev came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Okan Golovichev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 2-1. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Viriato Moura hit a great ball. Okan Golovichev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Okan Golovichev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karapinar's goalkeeper Marcus Mazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Karapinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağdaş Ersayın to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Okan Golovichev to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Karapinar's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Marcus Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very nice done corner allowed Faustino Almeida to score against Marcus Mazza in Karapinar's goal. 2-2 after 54 minutes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 57th minute of play forced Karapinar's goalkeeper Marcus Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Okan Golovichev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Faustino Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marcus Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Karapinar's Okan Golovichev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Okan Golovichev came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Karapinar getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ahmet Baki Yamaç hit a great ball. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Fabricio Andrade was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Portugal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 86 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcus Mazza. Caetano Moreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Ercüment Dağdelen struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karapinar. Ercüment Dağdelen took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3.
