Eliseo Cutri made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Patrik De Roost. The supporters of Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gianpaolo Mascari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Porziano Marchitelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Lyle Coppack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italy the free kick. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 80th minute, Patrik De Roost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. The supporters of Italy booed when Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Italy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
