Daniel Banaszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jan-Åke Hedlund sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Valencia CF Mindszent's Jan-Åke Hedlund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Daniel Banaszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Spain's David Aranda got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jan-Åke Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jan-Åke Hedlund sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute of the match Valencia CF Mindszent got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christos Xenidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Valencia CF Mindszent's Christos Xenidis to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabriel Ascaso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Daniel Banaszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Aranda in the 55th minute of the match. Spain's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Omar Toledo in the 56th minute. The corner ended in Jon Cubero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Valencia CF Mindszent's Daniel Banaszak did a great save. Adria Bielsa charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adria Bielsa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Omar Toledos short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Daniel Banaszak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Banaszak was a little too slow when Omar Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-1. Valencia CF Mindszent made a substitution. Silvestre Pacorro replaced Ovidiu Adrian. In the 70thth minute of the game Omar Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valencia CF Mindszent's Daniel Banaszak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Banaszak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa.
