In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalkeeper Harry Mik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 15 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Birjaio. Melquiades Mambru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wang Zhi Jun went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus van Dongen in the 23rd minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus van Dongen in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MORPH's Orlando Lopez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Melquiades Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Zhi Jun in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the game, Daniel Birjaio landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Marcus van Dongen charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus van Dongen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MORPH's Arturo Haritzeder was substituted for Daniel Birjaio. Marcus van Dongen kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Melquiades Mambru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Folkert Engelaar's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Harry Mik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carel Rokeloos in the 34th minute of the match. Emiliano Berdaitz took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harry Mik. Harry Mik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

52 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Joost de Zaaijer came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes MORPH's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Billy Châtelet who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Edward Zuidema managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, MORPH's Melquiades Mambru got control of the ball when Osvaldinho Netto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Mik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Berdaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Guido Lorencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Mik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, MORPH's Orlando Lopez got a free kick in the 74th minute. Melquiades Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folkert Engelaar in the 75th minute of play. Osvaldinho Nettos short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Melquiades Mambru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Lorencio in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in MORPH's zone, Folkert Engelaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal and Folkert Engelaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner ended in Billy Châtelet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MORPH's Melquiades Mambru did a great save. Melquiades Mambru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wang Zhi Jun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 93 minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
