Thanks to some nice moves Camille Baume could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Fausto Ferraz however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camille Baume got free with Fausto Ferraz in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes in the game Samuca Figueiredo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leopoldo Sanches. 78 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Dupuy came free, but Fausto Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Prata. David Barbier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fausto Ferraz. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robert Chapuis scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Ferraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded France left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S.E.R. Caxias do Sul.
