Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Peletier took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fausto Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Alexis Bruneau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E.R. Caxias do Sul the free kick. Alexis Bruneau kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Ferraz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcel Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Camille Baume's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. France were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Barbier took the corner. After some careless play in the France defense, Marcel Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. The France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maxime Durand should have stopped the shot. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Abreu in the 24th minute. Marcel Abreu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Maxime Durand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 26th match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soni Féron to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Luizão Prata threw the ball into play from the sideline. The wind increased when Marcel Abreu made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Abreu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Marcel Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 55 minutes into the game, Quentin Beaux was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E.R. Caxias do Sul the free kick. After 55 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Beaux. The audience cheered when Carlos Alberto Magalhães's long shot passed Maxime Durand's right side. It was 2-2, 56 minutes into the match. Fausto Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remy Dupuy, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Camille Baume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Ferraz having to interfere. A collision led to S.E.R. Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Marcel Abreu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Camille Baume could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Fausto Ferraz however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camille Baume got free with Fausto Ferraz in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes in the game Samuca Figueiredo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leopoldo Sanches. 78 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Dupuy came free, but Fausto Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Prata. David Barbier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fausto Ferraz. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robert Chapuis scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Ferraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded France left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S.E.R. Caxias do Sul.
