The tension between the Ninjas in Pyjamas and the Belgium players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ionuț Măcriș hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gelu Bornescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ninjas in Pyjamas defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelu Bornescu. The Ninjas in Pyjamas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelu Bornescu should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gelu Bornescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ninjas in Pyjamas made a substitution. Traian Bădilescu replaced Aurelian Zogreanu. 20 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gelu Bornescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Onofrei in the 22nd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Gelu Bornescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Gelu Bornescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 29th minute of play. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iosif Mihele hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Pavel Teaşcă made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Florin Griguță however managed to control. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Gelu Bornescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 35th minute of play. Gelu Bornescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 36th minute of the match. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Gelu Bornescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 38th minute of play. The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. Guillaume Bonte got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Yves Dervaux. With a little luck, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Gelu Bornescu got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gelu Bornescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Edward Vanderstraeten slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 57th minute. Gelu Bornescu was a little too slow when Edward Vanderstraeten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 69th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gelu Bornescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gelu Bornescu. Gelu Bornescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. With a little luck, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Gelu Bornescu got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gelu Bornescu made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Gelu Bornescu. Ninjas in Pyjamas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Gelu Bornescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Sabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siebe Michiels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, Ninjas in Pyjamas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Măcriș to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the game Pavel Teaşcă made a throw-in which Robert Onofrei played forward. The Ninjas in Pyjamas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgium were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
