Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Meesters in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kauan Mandrak charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Mandrak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kauan Mandrak hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Vicente Alves got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Wim Wilmes could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Michel Čech however easily saved by the left post. In the 84thth minute of the game Zé Tola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Tola in the 86th minute of play.
