The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Alagoano got free with Keld Paulsen in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Carlos Monteiro hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenn Skou during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aníbal Alagoano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. Aníbal Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vinicio Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Aníbal Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Junior got free with Keld Paulsen in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 46 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Simon Bendtsen. Jenipapo SC's Ricardinho Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kajetan Pilarski made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zé Carlos Monteiro however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 52nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Vinicio Junior left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jenipapo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Aníbal Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 59th minute. Jenipapo SC's Kajetan Pilarski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Olav Graversen, made in the 61st minute of the game. In the 62nd minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 64th minute of play. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano. But to his dismay, Aníbal Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 90th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Aníbal Alagoano notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardinho Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Bertram Svenningsen sped through Jenipapo SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl Pilgren.
