With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lu Zhen Sheng saved DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting behind. After 17 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lu Zhen Sheng was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Wilfredo Cutberto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Vittori. That made the score 1-2 in the 20 minute of play. DREAM TEAM WORLD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miguel Furtado in the 26th minute. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Miguel Furtado got a free kick in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrzej Zapolski was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Cutberto in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Sigfrido Auletta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 minutes of play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Wilfredo Cutberto made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Mendez Urquizu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eliseo Cutri, made in the 83rd minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, André Luís Lessard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Flavio Vittori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Lessard came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
