Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Heinz-Dieter Schwabenland sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 6 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Meinhardt came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Meinhardt in the 19th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Finken in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Meinhardt came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Stefan Windscheif fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arbing FSV - yougame.at's protests and gave Stefan Windscheif a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Arbing FSV - yougame.at was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Windscheif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Achteresch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 41st minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Adrian Meinhardt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Reichert in the 58th minute of play. Peter Achteresch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 80th match minute, Arbing FSV - yougame.at was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Frederik Sonntag to maneuver through the defense. Peter Achteresch made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Finken in the 83rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Hubert Finken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arbing FSV - yougame.at fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Peter Achteresch threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jan-Frederik Sonntag hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Adrian Meinhardt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
