La France FC's Olle Casillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save La France FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algitas Kaščiukaitis in the 41st minute of play forced La France FC's goalkeeper Olle Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes of play, Sävedalen's Algitas Kaščiukaitis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olle Casillas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Algitas Kaščiukaitis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Torsten Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute Tomas Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Torsten Ekeroth made a precise shot to the right of Olle Casillas. La France FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Sävedalen were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
