Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beto Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Salamon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 77th minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Efrain Salamon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Efrain Salamon managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
