Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Şoimaru to maneuver through the defense. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Iacobescu in the 6th minute of play. Ionică Bădilescu came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Ionică Bădilescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vanderstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionică Bădilescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolae Bosioc hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Ionică Bădilescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Viorel Iacobescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionică Bădilescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26th play minutes Edward Vanderstraeten shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Ionică Bădilescu and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolae Bosioc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Casper Claes. That made the score 2-2 in the 29 minute of play. Viorel Iacobescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionică Bădilescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandu Porumbescu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Dragoş Dancu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Viorel Iacobescu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Emil Ştoia was substituted for Viorel Iacobescu. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Filip Braia replaced Dragoş Dancu.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciprian Halipa was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ionică Bădilescu. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 60th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalie and right to Nigel Devos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Ionică Bădilescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save FC PIETROSUL -MM- from getting a goal against them. Ionică Bădilescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Dervaux in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 70 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ionică Bădilescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Ciprian Halipa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Ştoia in the 80th minute of the match. Ciprian Halipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilian Şoimaru during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Şoimaru to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes in the game Aurel Teodoroiu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ciprian Halipa. Ionică Bădilescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 90th minute. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Ionică Bădilescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 92nd minute of play. When the match was over Belgium could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC PIETROSUL -MM- throughout the match.
