With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giotis Kourmouzis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lukasz Bronder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giotis Kourmouzis in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 34th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Wnukowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Wnukowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 41st minute of the match. Giotis Kourmouzis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ryszard Wnukowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
