Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sergiu Corcoveanu started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's zone, Jonas Nalder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilian Pora came out of the goal and Jonas Nalder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codrin Şendrea kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Fabio Schneider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Emilian Lera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilian Lera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jonas Nalder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Seidler charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Seidler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Emil Seidler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes, Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's Sergiu Corcoveanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabio Auer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca reached it. In the 29th minute, Sandro Galishoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonhard Maier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Emilian Pora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Marian Covrig. 36 minutes into the game, Jonas Nalder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Nalder to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th play minute Sergiu Corcoveanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabio Auer. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's Sergiu Corcoveanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Rafael Riedl fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austria's protests and gave Rafael Riedl a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rafael Riedl hit a great ball. The supporters of Austria booed when Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Covrig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilian Lera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's Emilian Pora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Schneider in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Schneider during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Fabio Schneider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valeriu Cosariu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Austria's Leonhard Maier got a free kick in the 90th minute. Sergiu Corcoveanu took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 96 minutes into the game, Marian Covrig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Austria the free kick. After 96 played minutes Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Marian Covrig. Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Austria for a fine match.
