Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Binne Koppermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Bertram Svenningsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarne Kirkegaard to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Olav Graversen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Olav Graversen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Binne Koppermann to strike the kick off in the second half. Binne Koppermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Gagnidze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Binne Koppermann went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Denmark booed when ФК КрасноДАР was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgi Chiellini didn't get a good kick on the ball. ФК КрасноДАР made a substitution. Filimon Rodimov replaced Chris de Kok. After 77 played minutes ФК КрасноДАР got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Norberg. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind ФК КрасноДАР's goalkeeper Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Binne Koppermann's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Chris Nygaard hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Binne Koppermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Binne Koppermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Denmark players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ФК КрасноДАР from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
