Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 4th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Lobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Rodrigo Lobo sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Lobo's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Lobo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CS La Libertad getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rodrigo Lobo hit a great ball. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Monge having to interfere. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by CS La Libertad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of play forced CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Lobo in the 34th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Valassiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Volio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Volio was the one to do the kick off. Ernesto Monge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Monge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes CS La Libertad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernesto Monge despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 57th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 62nd minute, Miguel Volio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CS La Libertad's Marco Ureña was substituted for Miguel Volio. After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's Omar Guevara got a free kick in the 68th minute. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 76th minute. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Egbert Nijveldt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ernesto Monge quite easily take care of the ball. In the 81st minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ernesto Monge was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ernesto Monge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CS La Libertad.
