In the 4th of the match, Jailson Pontes tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Donald May got in the way and made a wonderful save. Donald May showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Real Galaxy's Domenic Ruiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Quadros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Vixi FC's zone, Dwight Dotson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Quadros came out of the goal and Dwight Dotson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Quadros came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Galaxy's Anthony Altman. But to his dismay, Anthony Altman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualter Esteves got free with Donald May in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gualter Esteves struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Donald May didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vixi FC. Sílvio Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dwight Dotson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Real Galaxy's zone, Jailson Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donald May came out of the goal and Jailson Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualter Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Donald May tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Jailson Pontes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donald May. The goal made the score 1-3. After a rather tough play, Vixi FC's Jailson Pontes got a free kick in the 37th minute. The supporters of Real Galaxy booed when Vixi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualter Esteves made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Vixi FC got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Veloso. After a rather tough play, Real Galaxy's Sherwood Welsh got a free kick in the 55th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Vixi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sherwood Pujols came free, but Sílvio Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Quadros made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Dwight Dotson sent off a good shot on target. Ademir Veloso's late challenge caught a Real Galaxy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ademir Veloso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Vixi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenic Ruiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Fausto Garcia lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 68th minute, one of Vixi FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vixi FC. The referee gave Real Galaxy a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andre Dickson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vixi FC's Sílvio Quadros. 1-5. Sherwood Welsh charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sherwood Welsh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real Galaxy's Sherwood Welsh got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Dwight Dotson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Quadros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Sherwood Pujols managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Galaxy's supporters rose to their feet, but Sherwood Pujols was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jailson Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Donald May tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Sherwood Pujols in the 83rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jailson Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Jailson Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 played minutes Vixi FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Vidal. Sílvio Quadros was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Andre Dickson. 90 minutes into the match, Sherwood Pujols dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sílvio Quadros, 1-7.
