Vixi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jailson Pontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Bastiaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Gualter Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jailson Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Lluis in the 71st minute of play forced Vixi FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Gualter Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Vixi FC's Matías Barros got a free kick in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the game, Gualter Esteves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonatan Bastiaro. The supporters of Vixi FC booed when Tocota AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Lartaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Vixi FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vixi FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
