If Alexandru Stănilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hugon Wierzcholek sped through Czechia Hradec Králové's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nodar Gol. Liviu Ciuvică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from František Kubeček in the 17th minute of play. Dan Paclík hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Harald Viták's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liviu Ciuvică was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Alexandru Stănilă struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Nodar Gol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Gloria Sieu. Harald Viták recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liviu Ciuvică showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Andrýsek, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When CF Gloria Sieu's Hugon Wierzcholek in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
