Olle Söderquist kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Tinglöf came free, but Cayetano Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Brask in the 12th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Luís Paulo Sabóia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Carl Norberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Paulo Sabóia took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Norberg. Carl Norberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Frisk in the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Ruy Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paulopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruy Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulopolis's Ruy Carneiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carl Norberg. That made the score 3-0 after 36 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Maltesholms FF's Aaron Brask got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Luís Paulo Sabóia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Norberg. Maltesholms FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Paulo Sabóia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 45 minutes into the game, one of Maltesholms FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Carl Norberg, was totally fooled by Paulopolis's Sérgio Marinho, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Maltesholms FF defense, Ruy Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carl Norberg. The Maltesholms FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carl Norberg should have stopped the shot. Carl Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Ruy Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruy Carneiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carl Norberg having to make a save. After having played for 70 minutes, Ruy Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ruy Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maltesholms FF's Carl Norberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruy Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Norberg having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Paulopolis's Maurício Motta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Norberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Paulopolis's attentive Maurício Motta managed to snatch the ball when Olle Söderquist made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Sérgio Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Frisk got free with Cayetano Rito in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
