After 7 minutes of play, Merengue FC's Darwin Núñez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xan Descapa was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Ornopata's Bayan Gugovski threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Urki Miras, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 26 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Oñatibia came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayan Gugovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urki Miras in the 29th minute of play. Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urki Miras in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute, Kleber Chalas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xan Descapa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Urtsin, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Loredo got free with Bayan Gugovski in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Joaquin Loredo made the kick off in the second half. If Ismael Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xan Descapa was a little too slow when Ediberto Sampaio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-3. 麦风适 hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes Merengue FC got a freekick which was hit by 麦风适. Bayan Gugovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Oñatibia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 麦风适 kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Raimundo Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes Merengue FC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Gonsalvo. Bayan Gugovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Loredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Daniel Oñatibia came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ornopata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Oñatibia couldn't finish the play. Bayan Gugovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Oñatibia in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pipo Inzaghi came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ediberto Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Xan Descapa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Loredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bayan Gugovski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Loredo ran back to his position shaking his head. Ediberto Sampaio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Xan Descapa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kleber Chalas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Merengue FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
