Olavo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Bondi in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Fazendinha's Andrézinho Macedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olavo Velloso. Olavo Velloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's Leandro Bartoli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximino Acevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led to Revolución Joao FC's Benjamin Kielland getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Macedo in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Fazendinha's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Ayon came free, but Maximino Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Acevedo came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Revolución Joao FC's Leandro Bartoli. But to his dismay, Leandro Bartoli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Leandro Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aguinaga Casasola in the 32nd minute of play forced Fazendinha's goalkeeper Maximino Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válbson Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válbson Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Válbson Arce hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Bondi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes of play, Fazendinha's Arturo Bondi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olavo Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leandro Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Maximino Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Bondi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Bartoli in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Acevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Fazendinha's Luiz Guilherme Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olavo Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Fazendinha booed when Revolución Joao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Udalaitz Anel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Revolución Joao FC's Zambrano Bravo was substituted for Reynald Blache. Revolución Joao FC made a substitution. Justavino Manaut replaced Geronimo Abilio. A collision led to Revolución Joao FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Udalaitz Anel hit a great ball. Olavo Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Bondi's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fazendinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Guilherme Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Leandro Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Acevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youssef Malek in the 87th minute of the match. Youssef Malek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Maximino Acevedo made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
