Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) CF Gloria Sieu's Gigi Iovanovici started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Paulopolis defense, Gigi Iovanovici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Rito. The Paulopolis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Rito should have stopped the shot. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Iovanovici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruy Carneiro got free with Liviu Ciuvică in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cayetano Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Iovanovici, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to CF Gloria Sieu getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alexandru Matei hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Sérgio Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paulopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Paulopolis getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Luís Paulo Sabóia hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Alexandru Stănilă notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Liviu Ciuvică made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Luís Paulo Sabóia sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by CF Gloria Sieu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sérgio Marinho was slow to take the kick. During this time Paulopolis's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Paulopolis's corner Sérgio Marinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Liviu Ciuvică quite easily take care of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Luís Paulo Sabóia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Liviu Ciuvică. CF Gloria Sieu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Paulo Sabóia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruy Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Liviu Ciuvică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Cayetano Rito successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72nd minute, Luís Paulo Sabóia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liviu Ciuvică was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. 76 minutes into the game, Paulopolis's Ruy Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liviu Ciuvică made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Stănilă in the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Alexandru Stănilă could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Cayetano Rito however easily saved by the left post. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Paulopolis from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandru Stănilă. 86 minutes into the game, Luís Paulo Sabóia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Liviu Ciuvică was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liviu Ciuvică didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruy Carneiro went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-3 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paulopolis had won after a very even match.
