Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulino Mero started the match with the kick off. Bengals's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ruy Carneiro 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Baltasar Merexildo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Edgard Weterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruy Carneiro in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Paulopolis's Cícero Reis got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Paulopolis booed when Bengals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Merexildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Ruy Carneiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Weterio. Bengals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruy Carneiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Aldo Ascencio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Henrique Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Weterio having to interfere. Ruy Carneiro took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Weterio. Edgard Weterio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Mano in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Paulopolis's Luís Paulo Sabóia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard Weterio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Mero in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Rito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bengals's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aldo Ascencio in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bengals's goalkeeper Edgard Weterio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henrique Veloso took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Weterio. Edgard Weterio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 62 minutes into the match, George Smitt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Weterio. Bengals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Smitt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Bengals's Edgard Weterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Carneiro in the 71st minute of play. Francisco Manilan made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Isidoro Lucado immediately put the ball in play. Fabio Isauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cayetano Rito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Ascencio kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Paulopolis's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
