Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Wrzosek in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Qi Yang Guang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcus Ekrot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Alessandro Micucci notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist. Svante Stenqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 minutes Söderhall's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
