In the 12th minute of the match, Francesco Totti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hampus Vall was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Gösta Söderberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Hammarby IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BK Tåfjutt:s goal. Holger Vester went to the wrong direction when Jörn Barck was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Holger Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Barck in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Celedonio Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hampus Vall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celedonio Dominguez went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Holger Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Magdziarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 35 minutes into the game, BK Tåfjutt's Karol Magdziarz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Holger Vester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Holger Vester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Magdziarz in the 41st minute of play. The referee showed Frans Beckenbauer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frans Beckenbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Karol Magdziarz scored 1-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Holger Vester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

BK Tåfjutt's Ken Golang was substituted for Karol Magdziarz. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Dominguez to strike the kick off in the second half. Hammarby IF's Holger Vester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Hammarby IF from getting a goal against them. Ken Golang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Holger Vester made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Ken Golang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Tåfjutt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 65 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Holger Vester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Dahlman. In the 71st match minute, BK Tåfjutt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huang Wei Hong to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hammarby IF booed when BK Tåfjutt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huang Wei Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Dahlman struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Holger Vester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Tåfjutt. Viktor Dahlman came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Holger Vester could save by the left post. The corner led BK Tåfjutt's Kosmas Charalambakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Holger Vester despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Hammarby IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BK Tåfjutt's performance. The match ended with a win for BK Tåfjutt.
