The corner ended in Martin Mutumba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hammarby IF's Holger Vester did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emmanuel Dennis got free with Holger Vester in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Holger Vester made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Martin Mutumba sent off a good shot on target. Martin Mutumba came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Holger Vester could save by the left post. Alessandro Micucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Indalecio charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Indalecio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jose Indalecio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Holger Vester made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Emmanuel Dennis sent off a good shot on target. Emmanuel Dennis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Holger Vester when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Totti came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holger Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mutumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Emmanuel Dennis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vykans Vikingar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Dominguez was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Bo-Erik Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them.
