Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Chatziioannou in the 4th minute of the match. Giannis Chatziioannou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Karl-Erik Norström made a huge save. Karl-Erik Norström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Radomir Gerlach showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Chen Ao Fan put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sture Abrahamsson. In the 22nd minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Hamrin came free, but Sture Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Chatziioannou in the 30th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Kruse. 37 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Chatziioannou came free, but Karl-Erik Norström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 38th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute of the match, Radomir Gerlach tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karl-Erik Norström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chen Ao Fan to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nytäppet Fc's Martin Lindman got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With an all-out effort, Skövde AIK's Sture Abrahamsson threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chen Ao Fan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 57 minutes into the match, Giannis Chatziioannou notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström. Karl-Erik Norström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 61st minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 62nd minute of the match. Martin Lindman kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Chen Ao Fan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chen Ao Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Håkan Kruse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skövde AIK and the Nytäppet Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Filip Brolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Dušan Vlahović in the 78th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Karl-Erik Norström's left hand side. If Kevin Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Kurt Hamrin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute Jakob Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sture Abrahamsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Keegan in the 92nd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nytäppet Fc had played much better football throughout.
