After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Botond Détári breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Botond Détári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 25th minute of the match. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Botond Détári read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aladár Takács was the one to do the kick off. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Botond Détári tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Botond Détári made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 59th minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 60th minute. The corner led to Hungary's Takacs Tibor getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Árpád Kardos in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to FC Olad getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Attila Kozma hit a great ball. FC Olad's Aladár Takács got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Béla Czene kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegedus Henrik to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th match minute, FC Olad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Kozma to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Olad's Elek Vörös got a free kick in the 75th minute. Elek Vörös hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Árpád Kardos in the 87th minute of play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aladár Takács in the 88th minute of play. Elek Vörös recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Vörös Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lóránt Vörös's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. After 95 played minutes FC Olad got a freekick which was hit by Árpád Kardos. Hungary's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
