After a defensive mix-up in LZS Turawa's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Wyrzykowski came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Piotr Wyrzykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Germany booed when LZS Turawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Blicharz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Piotr Wyrzykowski having to make a save. Piotr Wyrzykowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 26th minute of play. Roland Treppa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The Germany fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Germany's Frank Sachs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piotr Wyrzykowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raf Lojo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Roland Treppa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LZS Turawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Treppa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Ludwig Walas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by LZS Turawa's Ludwig Walas. But to his dismay, Ludwig Walas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 56th minute Ilie Siteavu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind LZS Turawa's goalkeeper Piotr Wyrzykowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, LZS Turawa's Piotr Wyrzykowski got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Treppa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 87 minutes LZS Turawa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Piotr Wyrzykowski quite easily take care of the ball. In the 92nd minute LZS Turawa were awarded a corner. Ilie Siteavu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on LZS Turawa's corner Ilie Siteavu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. After 94 minutes, Willy Stieler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the LZS Turawa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute of the match Raf Lojo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. LZS Turawa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
