The crowd rose to their feet as Cosimo Laudadio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Ciro Immobile made in the 6th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Antonio Nero. Marco Silvestri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Moreira went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Marco Silvestri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 11th minute of the match. Ciro Immobile hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Viriato Moura made a precise shot to the right of Marco Silvestri. SPALLETTE RETURNS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as SPALLETTE RETURNS's Cosimo Laudadio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 2-2 after 16 minutes of play. After 20 played minutes SPALLETTE RETURNS got a freekick which was hit by Armando Izzo. After 21 played minutes, Portugal's Felipe Barreto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marco Silvestri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Portugal reached it. If Cosimo Laudadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Silvestri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 28th minute of play. Cosimo Laudadio succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. 32 minutes into the match, Cosimo Laudadio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosimo Laudadio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 34th minute, Amedeo Palmieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Silvestri having to interfere. SPALLETTE RETURNS's attentive Amedeo Palmieri managed to snatch the ball when Fabricio Andrade made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosimo Laudadio in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 minutes of play, SPALLETTE RETURNS's Cosimo Laudadio made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 43rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cosimo Laudadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Marco Silvestri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosimo Laudadio made a kick off. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Laudadio in the 51st minute of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Laudadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Amedeo Palmieri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SPALLETTE RETURNS and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amedeo Palmieri hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Cosimo Laudadio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Laudadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Cosimo Laudadio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Cosimo Laudadio put it in 7-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Amorim. SPALLETTE RETURNS made a substitution. Fortunato Santone replaced Armando Izzo. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Graciano Coutinho hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Cosimo Laudadio made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosimo Laudadio in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 79th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Bevilacqua came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Tullio in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Augusto Bevilacqua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Achille Tullio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Laudadio in the 86th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, SPALLETTE RETURNS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Pellegrini to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Cosimo Laudadio notched a goal, 11-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SPALLETTE RETURNS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
