Tristan Franquis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Damiano Mucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Breton in the 13th minute of play. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Helder Jares quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yuan Xiong, made in the 14th minute of the game. FC Aquile Azzurre's attentive Yuan Xiong managed to snatch the ball when Liu Liang Gang made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Damiano Mucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Breton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Bianco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristan Franquis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinç Dede in the 20th minute of the match. Dinç Dede might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tristan Franquis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinç Dede ran back to his position shaking his head. Tristan Franquis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinç Dede, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Dinç Dede might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tristan Franquis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinç Dede ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberino Salgado during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Imperio Catatumbo de Lara got a freekick which was hit by Alberino Salgado. 35 minutes into the game, Dinç Dede cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tristan Franquis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Osvaldinho Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Aquile Azzurre's protests and gave Osvaldinho Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, FC Aquile Azzurre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Queirós to maneuver through the defense.
