Szajk LC's András Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 11th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper András Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's Zalán Kovács sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zalán Kovács in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Szajk LC booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boros Benedek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Zénó Polgár sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodor Daniel skillfully saved the ball. Zalán Kovács could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Katona Janos made a precise shot to the right of András Horváth. Szajk LC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Zalán Kovács could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Szajk LC's András Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 37th minute of play. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zalán Kovács in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Szajk LC were awarded a corner. Zénó Polgár went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Szajk LC's Zénó Polgár to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Zalán Kovács made the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zalán Kovács in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Zalán Kovács managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szajk LC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zalán Kovács was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and András Horváth could save by the left post. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zalán Kovács, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with András Horváth in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Zalán Kovács kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. András Horváth came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Zsolt Nagy charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zsolt Nagy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hungary made a substitution. Balazs Norbert replaced Hegedus Henrik. After 83 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by Zsolt Nagy. After 84 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by Árpád Konkoly. 89 minutes into the game, one of Szajk LC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. András Horváth had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Antal Valentin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zalán Kovács in the 95th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zalán Kovács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
