Axel Ree started the match with the kick off. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Ree in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Axel Ree managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monks in Robes's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Ree was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Vito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12thth minute of the game Axel Ree who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Ree in the 14th minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Angel Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Vito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Ree in the 18th minute of play. Axel Ree's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Vito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Ree in the 32nd minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Angel Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when Crottos Crotters F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Mackensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Ree in the 39th minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Angel Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's Axel Ree sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Vito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Frank Mackensen got a free kick in the 41st minute. Axel Ree's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Vito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peng Xiong to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Celestino Ler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the game, Nunez Larra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monks in Robes the free kick. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Crottos Crotters F.C.! Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Ree in the 60th minute of play. Kristen Gulskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peng Xiong in the 61st minute of play. Peng Xiong kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Axel Ree could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Angel Vito made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Mede came free, but Kristen Gulskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Erubiel Mede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristen Gulskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Ree blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Vito having to make a save. In the 86th minute Albinus Alking shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Monks in Robes's Fidel Havier to fire away a dangerous shot which Angel Vito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Angel Vito came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Monks in Robes's Albinus Alking. But to his dismay, Albinus Alking quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Monks in Robes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Monks in Robes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
