Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 7 in the game by Martin Mutumba from a close distance when the talented Flavio Vittori managed to make a qualified save. Italy's players were relieved. Alessandro Micucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Tage Glanselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Alessandro Micucci tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavio Vittori saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vykans Vikingar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emmanuel Dennis in the 20th minute. It was a well-played corner which Eric Van Lint managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Eden, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Emmanuel Dennis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Micucci came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Mutumba came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavio Vittori could save by the left post. In the 39th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Eden in the 54 minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Italy's Marcus Ekrot threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Siricio Liotta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Christoffer Johansson replaced Elliott Bogren. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the game, Vykans Vikingar's Eric Van Lint nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Vittori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Emmanuel Dennis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
