In the 18th match minute, Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peep Raamets to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dido Gorolomov, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Koit Vaikma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Dido Gorolomov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Koit Vaikma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 46th minute of play forced Vila's goalkeeper Koit Vaikma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vila:s Koit Vaikma showed great skill when he stopped Sigfrido Auletta:s penalty. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vila's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. Sigfrido Auletta made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that Vila's Koit Vaikma managed to reach the ball for a save. When Gianpaolo Mascari, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Koit Vaikma was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 78th minute Vila were awarded a corner. Olari Kabral went to the cornerflag to take it. Vila's Olari Kabral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flavio Vittori in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Olari Kabral kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Olari Kabral hit a great ball. Adriano Curto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Guiscardo Davide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 91st minute of play forced Vila's goalkeeper Koit Vaikma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristjan Jaani charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
