Black Devils's Miromir Juszkowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chris Mergenthaler, made in the 39th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Alejandro-Ramón Calderón De La Barca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Black Devils's Reynaldo Vinhas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
