In the 33rd match minute, Unica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantin Vostrikov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybar Bayezit in the 36th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Aybar Bayezit came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Sevastyan Lemeshevskiy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Netherlands's Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikita Gudkov having to interfere. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruslan Maslenkin in the 60th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikita Gudkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikita Gudkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Unica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Nikita Gudkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Nikita Gudkov in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
