Jan Ekenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 19th minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Casper Kleen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Ekenberg got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Jan Ekenberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Willig didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Krister Thedin hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Dostal couldn't finish the play. Alan Rezek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Casper Kleen made a huge save. After 65 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Folke Bergqvist. Erik Jilek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Casper Kleen made a huge save. Alan Rezek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Casper Kleen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Kleen having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Rezek couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Stål hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mean Machine's goalkeeper Casper Kleen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goalkeeper Casper Kleen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Rusil.
