Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Peletier kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute, David Bastia made a precise shot to the right of Maxime Durand. France's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, David Bastia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maxime Durand. David Bastia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Zhuo Sha Le was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA DEL MONO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. In the 18th minute, Zhuo Sha Le hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Betadur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 19th minute, Frank Peletier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Barbier in the 22nd minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Bitxintxo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Bitxintxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tobias Bitxintxo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Bastia in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes in the game Rigoberto Cordareo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alonzo Gamus. After 29 minutes, David Bastia made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. France's Maxime Durand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Remy Dupuy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Bastia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maxime Durand came out and tried to block the shot, but David Bastia slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 38th minute. Robert Chapuis hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, David Bastia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and David Bastia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, David Bastia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA DEL MONO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Bastia in the 66th minute of the match. Rigoberto Cordareo made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. The supporters of LA DEL MONO booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxence Durand didn't get a good kick on the ball. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Gamus in the 74th minute of play. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Bastia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Bastia in the 83rd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camille Baume received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Betadur came out and tried to block the shot, but Camille Baume slotted it home off the left post making it 5-3 in the 88th minute. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA DEL MONO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Barbier was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LA DEL MONO fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
