In the 16th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Vellito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Francho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ismael Vellito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ismael Vellito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Vellito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Ismael Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shuspendemo's Ismael Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 29th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Réda Kolb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shuspendemo's supporters rose to their feet, but Réda Kolb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Vellito made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Shuspendemo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Réda Kolb in the 61st minute of the match. Shuspendemo's Venancio Kepa was substituted for Réda Kolb. The corner led to Shuspendemo's Silverio Francho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Mauro Boselli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Ismael Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 74th minute of play. Gaspar Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Boselli's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Mauro Boselli took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Boselli in the 92nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Silverio Francho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Venancio Kepa in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
