After a defensive mix-up in Proteu's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Dantas came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dida Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 12th minute of the match. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Proteu's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Lars Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Dida Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Proteu's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Dida Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Proteu's Dida Dantas. Dida Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Simon Bendtsen made a precise shot to the right of Dida Dantas. Proteu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Proteu's Dida Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 38th minute of play. Dida Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Dantas saved Proteu from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Chris Nygaard made a precise shot to the right of Dida Dantas. Proteu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dida Dantas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Kenn Skou hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Dida Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Bjarne Kirkegaard with Bertram Svenningsen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dida Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Proteu defense, Bertram Svenningsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Dantas. The Proteu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Dantas should have stopped the shot. Chris Nygaard in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dida Dantas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Theis Winther made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Chris Nygaard however managed to control. Chris Nygaard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Dida Dantas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dida Dantas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. Proteu's Dida Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Lars Steen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Chris Nygaard in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dida Dantas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lars Steen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dida Dantas came out and tried to block the shot, but Lars Steen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 84th minute. Dida Dantas was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Chris Nygaard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chris Nygaard really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. After 93 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 0-15 with a short kick to the right side. Proteu's Dida Dantas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Dida Dantas made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Proteu.
