Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zaccheo Andolina kicked off to start the match. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseo Cutri in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Memphis Grizzlies's Grant Andrews. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronny Theobold during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 10th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Donald Fenwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Memphis Grizzlies's Donald Fenwick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute of the game Eliseo Cutri made a throw-in which Gianpaolo Mascari played forward. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Flavio Vittori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Donald Fenwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Porziano Marchitelli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Memphis Grizzlies's Donald Fenwick. Donald Fenwick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Vinicio Carballeira sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Carballeira to make the kick off. Donald Fenwick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 51st minute. Vinicio Carballeira struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Memphis Grizzlies. Siricio Liotta scored 0-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donald Fenwick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Cutri hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Joachim Garate came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Memphis Grizzlies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joachim Garate couldn't finish the play. Memphis Grizzlies's Ty Hislop was substituted for Ian Prutton. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Donald Fenwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porziano Marchitelli got free with Donald Fenwick in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Italy were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Memphis Grizzlies's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Siricio Liotta took the corner. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Siricio Liotta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Donald Fenwick quite easily take care of the ball. Memphis Grizzlies's Donald Fenwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guiscardo Davide in the 88th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guiscardo Davide to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ty Hislop came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
