Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Viorel Iacobescu made the kick off which started today's match. Viorel Iacobescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionică Bădilescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graciano Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionică Bădilescu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Portugal's Viriato Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionică Bădilescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Viorel Iacobescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 30th minute Viorel Iacobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Aurel Teodoroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Iacobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viorel Iacobescu got free with Wilson Amorim in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Portugal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristi Ciprian was substituted for Aurel Teodoroiu. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Viorel Iacobescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s zone, Felipe Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Bădilescu came out of the goal and Felipe Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Portugal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC PIETROSUL -MM-:s goal. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for FC PIETROSUL -MM-. Viorel Iacobescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wilson Amorim. 1-2. Aurelian Odobescu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ciprian Halipa managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ciprian Halipa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC PIETROSUL -MM- the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. After 70 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Moreira. Aurelian Odobescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelian Odobescu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute Viorel Iacobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ionică Bădilescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Viorel Iacobescu. But to his dismay, Viorel Iacobescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Iacobescu in the 91st minute of play. Ionică Bădilescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 93rd minute. Ionică Bădilescu was a little too slow when Daniel Pimentel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 99th minute. The score was now 2-3. The Portugal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
