The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefanos Salepis was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Stefanos Salepis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 44th minute of play. Nedim Emekli ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedim Emekli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mean Machine's Barnaba Gozdowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabricio Andrade, made in the 87th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Graciano Coutinho got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Carles Pujol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mean Machine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carles Pujol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
