The supporters of FC DNV Bratiskava booed when Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kian MacGregor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, FC DNV Bratiskava's Carlos Eduardo Dante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Higgins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 19 minutes in the game, Cyprian Falkiewicz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Kian MacGregor hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Colle. Carlos Eduardo Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Carlos Eduardo Dante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Eduardo Dante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Carlos Eduardo Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Dante recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexander Higgins. Carlos Eduardo Dante showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. After 44 minutes, Alessandro Colle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC DNV Bratiskava and the Scotland players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Colle. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Dante made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Scotland's Alexander Higgins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 minutes of play, FC DNV Bratiskava's Carlos Eduardo Dante made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Higgins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Eduardo Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Dante succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Karl-Åke Näver managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC DNV Bratiskava's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Åke Näver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Higgins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Carlos Eduardo Dante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC DNV Bratiskava fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Falkiewicz in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match, Zac O'Donnell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anıl Ege Sebuktekin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 87 minutes into the match, Carlos Eduardo Dante notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Scotland's Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Dezider Seman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Falkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 98 minutes Scotland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nils Breitbücher who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC DNV Bratiskava's Nils Breitbücher to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexander Higgins despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC DNV Bratiskava's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
