In the 4th minute Remy Uytdebroeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Joacim Dromph had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witomir Kochanowski. In the 9th minute, Natanael Guedes made a precise shot to the right of Adam Matysek. FC Gdansk36's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, FC Gdansk36's Iggi Kot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joacim Dromph made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Adam Matysek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, FC Gdansk36's Joacim Dromph threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iggi Kot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Kochanowski in the 31st minute of play forced Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Joacim Dromph to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes FC Gdansk36 got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Basaik. FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evtim Stanov in the 39th minute of play. Remy Uytdebroeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Adam Matysek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Botev Plovdiv 1912 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iggi Kot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joacim Dromph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witomir Kochanowski in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomislav Gitzov. If Iggi Kot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Velyo Vidolov was substituted for Bogdan Gornishki. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Joacim Dromph played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iggi Kot in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Remy Uytdebroeck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adam Matysek. Remy Uytdebroeck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Kochanowski in the 72nd minute of play forced Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Joacim Dromph to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FC Gdansk36 from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Evtim Stanov could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Adam Matysek however easily saved by the left post. After 83 played minutes FC Gdansk36 got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Zworski. Remy Uytdebroeck was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Adam Matysek made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Evtim Stanov sent off a good shot on target. Joacim Dromph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witomir Kochanowski in the 86th minute of the match. When Iggi Kot came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Gdansk36 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iggi Kot couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Zworski to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Botev Plovdiv 1912 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
